8709 PRESTON HWY Flooring replacement - Asbestos Abatement Permit
Micro-Analytics, Inc. has filed for an asbestos abatement permit to replace flooring and remove mastic at St. Rita Catholic School, 8709 Preston Highway, a property owned by the Roman Catholic Bishop of Louisville. The project is scheduled June 29, 2026 to July 30, 2026 and calls for wet-scrape and chemical digestion to remove about 1,375 sq ft of Category I/II flooring and mastic in rooms 118 and 120, with Quantum Enterprises hauling roughly 7 cu. yds. of waste to WM - Outer Loop Landfill under trained supervisors Billy Geary, Danny Geary, Harris Hagerthey, and Tim Lyday.
