A vacant building is coming down at 1301 Outer Loop
1301 Outer Loop is lined up for a planned demolition, and the asbestos work is already in the works. The place at the heart of it is a 5,000-square-foot vacant building, and the city has it set for removal of the old material before anything comes down.
Work is slated to run from October 23, 2026 through November 7, 2026. The city’s still got it in progress, so this one isn’t all the way through the finish line yet.
