119 DR W J HODGE ST applied for asbestos permit

An asbestos abatement permit for demolition has been filed for 119 Dr W J Hodge St. The owner, Louisville and Jefferson County Land, hired Cardinal Industrial Insulation Co., Inc. to remove about 8 feet of Category I/II asbestos-containing roof flashing from the entire roof using wet methods, with work scheduled 12/26/2025–03/26/2026. Republic Services will haul the waste to WM Outer Loop Landfill, and the small vacant one-story former residence (built 1900, ~703 sq ft) is being cleared under an emergency notification.
