An emergency asbestos permit for an ordered demolition has been filed for 116 N 19th St, a vacant one‑story former residence built around 1900 owned by Pierce David B. Aesthetic Industrial Contracting will perform abatement between July 6, 2026 and August 6, 2026, treating roughly 2,079 sq ft of friable RACM with wet methods and daily removal to WM Outer Loop Landfill. The emergency order lets regulated asbestos-containing material stay in place during demolition only if crews minimize disturbance, keep materials wet, containerize and promptly dispose of debris, and avoid tracked vehicles on the rubble.
