1822 Owen Street environmental permit issued for asbestos abatement demolition
Cardinal Industrial Insulation Company, Inc. has been issued an asbestos abatement permit to remove asbestos-containing roof flashing at 1822 Owen St for owner Summers Charles II under a Louisville Metro emergency-order demolition so the vacant two-story residence can be taken down. The work is scheduled from 11/24/2025 to 12/31/2025, will use wet methods to remove about 15 feet of Category I/II material, and will be hauled by Republic Services to WM Outer Loop Landfill.
