444 South 5th Street applied for a wrecking permit

Metro Louisville has applied for a wrecking permit to demolish the single-family structure at 444 South 5th Street. The 126-year-old, 2,194 sq ft house is listed as dangerous and under a court order, with the project valued at about $25,750; the permit is still awaiting seven required items, including a notarized demolition notification, a site plan and structure photos (with an Intent to Demolish placard visible), plus utility sign-offs from LG&E and AT&T.
