Somebody’s getting ready to strip out asbestos material at GE - AP5, 4000 Buechel Bank Rd in Louisville.
National Environmental Contracting wants to remove floor tile and mastic, gasket material, and pipe insulation in several spots inside the plant, so new flooring, gaskets, and insulation can go in. It’s still in the works for now, with work penciled in for October 21 through November 11, 2026.
