Asbestos work is planned at GE Appliance Park on Buechel Bank Rd
GE Appliance Park at 4000 Buechel Bank Rd is getting an asbestos cleanup underway. The city signed off on work at the Louisville campus, where National Environmental Contracting is set to remove pipe insulation in spots around the facility, with the first start date listed for September 24, 2026.
It’s a pretty big one, too, with up to 1,500 linear feet or square feet covered across the site, though no single job is supposed to top 260 linear feet or 160 square feet.
