1744 W Gaulbert Ave applied for asbestos abatement and demolition permit
Micro-Analytics, Inc. has applied for an asbestos abatement permit to remove flooring and mastic at the vacant single-family home at 1744 W Gaulbert Ave, a 1-story, 720 sq ft residence built in 1965 now owned by the Louisville & Jefferson County Landbank. The work — wet scraping and chemical digestion of mastic to remove about 122 sq ft of Category I/II material — is scheduled for May 11–29, 2026, after which the structure will be demolished and waste taken to WM - Outer Loop Landfill.
