1793 Wilson Ave Environmental Permit for Asbestos Abatement to Allow Demolition

Cardinal Industrial Insulation Company, hired by owner Carter Devin, is performing an emergency asbestos abatement at 1793 Wilson Ave to remove asbestos-containing materials so the vacant two-story, 1,228 sq ft house (built in 1900) can be demolished. The project runs February 2–May 2, 2026, and calls for wet-method removal of roof flashing (about 30 ft) and bathroom flooring/mastic (about 40 sq ft), with roughly 8 cubic yards of waste hauled by Republic Services to WM Outer Loop Landfill.
