2002 Standard Ave environmental permit for asbestos demolition (emergency order)

Louisville Metro Emergency Order Demolition has authorized an emergency asbestos-related teardown at 2002 Standard Ave, a vacant two-story former residence built around 1900 (about 1,096 sq ft). Aesthetic Industrial Contracting, Inc. will handle abatement; the order allows regulated asbestos-containing material (RACM) to remain in place during demolition but requires contractors to minimize disturbance, keep materials wet, containerize and dispose of debris daily at WM Outer Loop Landfill, and avoid tracked vehicles on the debris — work is scheduled for 11/20/2025–12/20/2025.
