Louisville & Jefferson County Landbank has an emergency asbestos permit for demolition at 1630 Dumesnil St., a vacant former residence built in 1900. Aesthetic Industrial Contracting, Inc. will perform the work from 9/30/2025 to 10/30/2025, treating about 1,760 square feet of friable asbestos-containing material as RACM — crews must keep materials wet, containerize and promptly dispose (daily to WM Outer Loop Landfill), minimize disturbance, and avoid track vehicles on demolition debris.
