5618 JEANINE DR issued encroachment permit for 3' x 5' dirt cut for gas work

Louisville Gas and Electric, via applicant Kaitlyn Downs, will excavate a single 3' x 5' dirt cut to repair a gas leak at 5618 Jeanine Dr., which is owned by Franklin Simone. Work between Norene N and Carolyn Way will close the southbound curb lane from Dec. 25, 2025 through Jan. 22, 2026 (about four weeks), and the cut will be restored under the LMPW utility restoration policy — project engineer Lori Boisvert is listed as the contact for questions.
