At 1479 S 2ND ST, a Louisville Metro emergency demolition is in the works, and this one covers the whole 2, 3, 4, 6, 4 square-foot place.
It’s the old vacant house at the site, built back in 1899, and the job is set up to keep the asbestos-containing material wet and boxed up as it comes down.
The city’s staff has already greenlit it, and the last step is still pending.
