2320 S Brook Street Environmental permit for mechanical system upgrade
Abatement Solutions Technologies, Inc. is lined up to perform asbestos abatement as part of a mechanical system upgrade at the Miller Information Technology Center, 2320 S Brook St, owned by the University of Louisville. The permit covers glovebag removal of presumed asbestos thermal system insulation in the mechanical room (about 6 sq ft), with work scheduled April 13–17, 2026, daily disposal to WM Outer Loop Landfill via Estes Waste Solutions, and trained supervisors Robert Choate, Gerlin Hechavarria, and Doug Amshoff on site.
