2000 Fern Valley Rd: asbestos permit for removal of ACM TSI at Ford LAP plant

Rand Environmental Services, Inc. will remove asbestos-containing pipe insulation from identified steam and condensate lines inside the Ford LAP plant at 2000 Fern Valley Rd; the owner is Ford Motor Co. World Headquarters. The project, scheduled for Aug. 24–26, 2026, calls for glovebag removal of about 60 feet of steam pipe and 120 feet of condensate pipe (180 feet total), will be done by Kentucky-licensed abatement workers and supervisors, and will be conducted in taped-off, signed areas with roughly 10 cubic yards of waste sent to Outer Loop Landfill.
