2000 Fern Valley Rd filed for environmental asbestos permit for mastic removal

Ford Motor Company is moving forward with an asbestos abatement at 2000 Fern Valley Rd, owned by Ford Motor Co World Headquarters, to remove roughly 6,000 sq ft of mastic from the former medical rooms and cafeteria in the vacant, ~10,000 sq ft building. Brandenburg Industrial Service Company is the abatement contractor and will use a wet-method removal, with waste headed to WM Outer Loop Landfill; the job is scheduled from 07/14/2026 to 07/31/2026. The permit is an initial renovation abatement and notes disposal will occur at the end of the project.
