National Environmental Contracting, Inc. will remove presumed asbestos-containing transite piping at Hadley Pottery, 1570 Story Ave., on behalf of owner Hadley Continuum Property LLC, with work scheduled for August 11–25, 2026. About 60 feet of pipe running from the first to third floors will be wrapped and removed intact, cleaned with HEPA vacuums and wet mopping, and disposed of (about 1 cubic yard) so others can install new piping while keeping disturbance to a minimum.
