500 S Preston St environmental permit for asbestos removal at School of Medicine
Abatement Solutions Technologies, Inc. will remove presumed asbestos-containing material (PACM) flooring at the School of Medicine, 500 S Preston St, ahead of a classroom renovation. The crew plans to strip about 687 sq ft of flooring and mastic in Room 313 using wet methods, critical barriers and HEPA-filtered negative air, supervised by Robert Choate (cert. 64869), scheduled 07/31/2026–08/07/2026, with daily waste (~5 cu. yds.) routed to WM - Outer Loop Landfill via Estes Waste Solutions and the Commonwealth Of Kentucky FBO Univers listed as owner.
