5310 Mercury Dr: Asbestos abatement permit Shacklette Elementary Class 110
Jefferson County Public Schools (owner: Jefferson County School District Fin) has filed for an asbestos abatement at Shacklette Elementary School, 5310 Mercury Dr, to remove floor tile and associated adhesive mastic from Classroom 110 between 06/09/2026 and 07/31/2026. RH Environmental will perform the non-friable removal—using hand tools or an electric floor scraper with wet methods—then HEPA-vacuum and wet-mop the area; about 775 square feet of flooring/mastic will be bagged and disposed at WM - Outer Loop Landfill.
