7215 Dixie Hwy Environmental Permit for asbestos tile removal at SW Gov Center
National Environmental Contracting, Inc. will remove presumed asbestos-containing floor tile and mastic from a second-floor office at the SW Government Center, 7215 Dixie Hwy, to clear the way for new flooring—no other materials are expected to be disturbed. The abatement is scheduled for 11/18/2025–12/02/2025; NEC says they’ll isolate the room with poly barriers, use wet methods and hand scrapers, clean up with HEPA vacuums and PPE, and dispose roughly 1 cubic yard of waste at WM – Outer Loop Landfill for the building owned by Louisville/Jefferson County Metro GO.
