8915 OLD BARDSTOWN RD asbestos abatement permit issued

Abatement Solutions Technologies, Inc. will perform asbestos abatement ahead of demolishing a vacant house at 8915 Old Bardstown Rd for owner Iron Will Ventures LLC, with work scheduled April 20–24, 2026. They plan to install critical barriers and a HEPA-filtered negative air machine, remove mirror mastic dots intact by taking out the associated drywall, and seal waste in poly bags for daily disposal at WM - Outer Loop Landfill. The two-story, ~3,000 sq ft home (built 1980) will be supervised by Doug Amshoff (cert. 88659), and crews will stop and secure the site if any additional asbestos-containing material is discovered.
