319 ABRAHAM FLEXNER WAY applied for asbestos abatement permit

Abatement Solutions Technologies, Inc. is set to remove presumed asbestos-containing (PACM) floor tile and mastic in the A Building at 319 Abraham Flexner Way (Room 1318) as part of a flooring renovation scheduled for 04/20–04/24/2026. The Commonwealth of Kentucky is listed as owner, and AST will use wet methods with critical barriers, HEPA-filtered negative air, and double-bagged waste for daily disposal to WM - Outer Loop Landfill. Trained supervisors Robert Choate, Gerlin Hechavarria, and Doug Amshoff will be on site for the roughly 1,000 sq ft removal (about 5 cubic yards of waste).
