501 W Main Street environmental permit for asbestos curtain removal
ROMAC Inc. will remove an asbestos-containing stage curtain at the Kentucky Center for the Performing Arts, 501 W Main St., under an abatement permit filed for the Commonwealth of Kentucky. The work is scheduled for 05/18/2026–07/31/2026 and calls for wet-method removal of roughly 1,500 sq ft of friable textile using negative-air containment, double-wrapping for disposal (handled by Republic Services to Pearl Hollow Landfill), with trained supervisors Joseph Webster and John Fulkerson on site.
