2000 Fern Valley Road asbestos permit for ACM abatement filed

Ford Louisville Assembly Plant is scheduling an asbestos abatement in the penthouse at 2000 Fern Valley Rd to clear the way for removal and replacement of an air tempering system; the owner listed is Ford Motor Co World Headquarters. Rand Environmental Services will use glovebag removal to take out about 3,224 feet of pipe insulation, with waste hauled by MPS Group to WM Outer Loop Landfill (roughly 120 cubic yards) during a project slated for Feb. 6–Mar. 3, 2026.
