501 S Preston St applied for asbestos abatement permit at UofL Dental School
National Environmental Contracting, Inc. will remove presumed asbestos floor tile and mastic from Room #102 at the UofL School of Dentistry (owned by the University of Louisville) located at 501 S Preston St., with work scheduled for March 9–23, 2026. The abatement covers about 600 sq ft (roughly 2 cubic yards of waste) and will use isolation barriers, wet methods, hand scrapers, HEPA vacuums and PPE to keep dust down so others can install new flooring; no other materials are expected to be disturbed.
