4001 DUTCHMANS LN Environmental permit for asbestos abatement in Norton OR Area
National Environmental Contracting, Inc. will remove presumed asbestos-containing spray-on fireproofing from the structural ceiling beams in Operating Rooms 1, 2, 5, and 6 at Norton Women's & Children's, 4001 Dutchmans Ln, on behalf of owner Norton Hospitals Inc. The work is scheduled for Jan. 30–Feb. 28, 2026, and covers about 100 sq ft of friable fireproofing; NEC plans full containment with negative-pressure machines, HEPA vacuums, wet mopping, and proper PPE. They also say they’ll notify the owner and air-quality officials if any additional asbestos is found so it doesn’t become a health hazard — safe and orderly for a busy hospital.
