2000 Fern Valley Rd applied for asbestos abatement permit
National Environmental Contracting, Inc. is scheduled to perform an asbestos abatement for renovation at 2000 Fern Valley Rd on behalf of Ford Motor Co World Headquarters from Jan. 21–Feb. 28, 2026. The work will remove about 5,500 sq ft of presumed asbestos-containing mastics from the "Sealer Line" ductwork and "Top Coat Line" oven and roughly 10 sq ft of thermal system insulation from the "Sealer Line" water tank using wet methods, containment with negative pressure, HEPA cleanup and proper PPE, with roughly 14 cubic yards of waste headed to WM - Outer Loop Landfill so new ductwork can be installed.
