9300 Whipps Mill Rd applied for asbestos abatement permit
National Environmental Contracting, Inc. will remove presumed asbestos-containing floor tile, mastic, and some pipe insulation at the Metro Parks Forestry Building, 9300 Whipps Mill Rd, which is owned by Jefferson County Kentucky Capital PR, so others can install new flooring and insulation. The work is scheduled for 01/12/2026–01/26/2026 and will use wet methods, glove bags for pipe insulation, HEPA vacuuming, poly containment and PPE; about 2,400 sq ft of flooring and 25 ft of pipe insulation (roughly 6 cubic yards of waste) will be hauled to WM - Outer Loop Landfill.
