601 Browns Ln Environmental Permit Asbestos tile removal at ST MATTHEWS ES
Jefferson County Public Schools is planning an asbestos abatement at St. Matthews Elementary School to remove 725 sq ft of asbestos-containing floor tile and associated adhesive mastic in Classroom 106 at 601 Browns Ln. The owner is Jefferson County School District Fin, and RH Environmental is the abatement contractor handling removal and disposal at WM - Outer Loop Landfill. Work is scheduled for December 5–8, 2025, using wet methods, hand or electric floor scrapers, HEPA vacuums, sealed polyethylene bags and certified supervisors on site.
