4018 Taylor Blvd issued asbestos permit for emergency demolition

An Emergency Order Demolition has been issued for 4018 Taylor Blvd — owner Morris Justin T is moving forward with work on the vacant two-story former residence (built 1923, about 3,304 sq ft), scheduled from 10/17/2025 to 11/17/2025. The asbestos permit allows friable regulated asbestos-containing material (RACM) to remain in place during teardown but requires Aesthetic Industrial Contracting, Inc. to minimize disturbance, keep materials wet, containerize and promptly dispose of debris at WM Outer Loop Landfill, and prohibits tracked vehicles on demolition debris — in short, crews must treat all demolition waste as RACM and proceed with caution.
