Ele Kitchen is cleared to roll in Louisville.
The mobile food unit is under the name Ele Kitchen, with fried rice, fried noodles, sushi, burgers, burritos, and boba on the menu. Sounds like somebody’s got a lot of cravings covered in one stop.
A 10-story, 212-unit building is in the works at 700 E Main St 101 in NuLu. NuLu Central Station LLC is behind the plan, and this one’s a big one, somewhere around $30 million and 323,000 square feet.
It’s set up for 230 bedrooms, 119.4 feet tall, and even comes with sprinklers. Not signed off yet, so this one is still in the works.
649 S 1st St is lined up for a big wrecking job, and it’s Spirtas Wrecking Company handling it.
The 110,000-square-foot commercial building there, built in 1968, is the one on the chopping block, with the work pegged at about $3.2 million.
It’s still in the works, so the city hasn’t signed off on the whole thing yet.
