3523 Goldsmith Ln lane closure permit requested for MSD project

MSD (Metropolitan Sewer District) is planning a lane-closure and excavation at 3523 Goldsmith Lane to relocate a failed pipe system from Rio Rita down Goldsmith, a repair intended to prevent structural flooding along Rio Rita. Work will be confined to the grassy area east of the pavement with no asphalt cuts, and the permit allows lane and sidewalk closures with a submitted traffic-control and restoration plan; the project runs April 24 to July 10, 2026, on property owned by the Roman Catholic Bishop of Louisville.
