4523 Melton Ave encroachment permit for water main replacement, lane closure

Louisville Water Company (LWC) will replace a water main at 4523 Melton Ave for property owner Self Properties LLC, involving one long pavement cut roughly 615' x 8'. Work is scheduled March 29–June 13, 2026, will close Melton Ave between Grade Ln and Abell Ave with a detour (and a related lane closure toward Mae St), MAC Construction is the contractor, and LWC says residents were notified ahead with restoration to follow under the city’s utility policy.
