1596 Cooper Ave Encroachment Permit issued for sewer connection

Seven Seas Construction will install a new sewer lateral tying into the existing sewer main for the property at 1596 Cooper Avenue, which is owned by Rodriguez Housing LLC. The work calls for one 4' x 8' pavement cut and a 4' x 14' dirt cut in the right-of-way between Larry Lane and Patricia Way, with a one-lane closure planned March 16–23, 2026 (they’ll post six no-parking signs). Street restoration will be a 22.5' x 14' mill-and-pave over a concrete cap and the lawn will be seed-and-strawed, with no curb or sidewalk disturbance, so it should be tidy when they’re done.
