Louisville Gas and Electric has an issued encroachment permit to close the southbound curb lane on North Madison Avenue to perform two utility pole replacements at 218 N Madison Ave, with work scheduled from March 10 to April 7, 2026. The property is owned by Jefferson County School District Fin; there will be no street cuts, restoration will follow LMPW utility restoration policy, and line transfers and pole removals will be coordinated through the National Joint Utilities Notification System (NJUNS).
