206 N Madison Ave Encroachment Permit issued for buried Lumos Fiber work

Lumos Fiber of Kentucky is installing buried fiber in the city right-of-way along N Madison Ave — including work at 206 N Madison Ave — between Main Street and Lepanto Avenue, using directional boring to place a 1.25" HDPE conduit, set handholes, and pull and splice about 1,020 feet of fiber. The job for property owners Jerry and Cassaundra Watkins includes three 4'x4' pavement cuts, lane and sidewalk closures, and a restoration plan is attached; work is scheduled March 2–13, 2026 from 8 AM–5 PM with Danielle Allen (project engineer) and Ledcor’s Randy Ashley listed as contacts.
