1301 Bates Ave encroachment permit issued for gas work and curb lane closures

Louisville Gas and Electric (contacts Kaitlyn Downs and project engineer Jason Owens) will be doing gas-service work at 1301 Bates Ave. They’ve got a permit to close the east and west curb lanes (not at the same time) and will perform two 3' x 5' dirt cuts to renew a gas service, with the excavations to be restored under the LMPW utility restoration policy. Work is scheduled from January 22 to February 19, 2026, and the property owner is Tymberwood Trace Properties LLC.
