7003 Grade Ln encroachment permit for crash site pipe work

Ella Thompson of MAC Construction & Excavating is applying for an encroachment permit to repair the Grade Lane crash site at 7003 Grade Lane for owner Martha L Embry. Crews will lay 140 ft of 24-inch ADS drainage pipe across Knopp Avenue and then 160 ft of 30-inch ADS pipe (including a 55 ft by 5 ft cut), install new catch basins, and concrete-cap the open cut flush with the existing pavement. Work is scheduled for January 13–23, 2026; Knopp Avenue will be temporarily closed when the pipe crosses and flaggers will direct traffic on Grade Lane, so expect road and sidewalk impacts during that window.
