5301 LOST TRL encroachment permit issued for dirt cut to repair gas leak

Louisville Gas and Electric is planning a southbound curb-lane closure on Lost Trl between Alpine Way and the dead end to repair a gas leak at 5301 Lost Trl. Applicant Kaitlyn Downs says crews will perform one 3' x 5' dirt cut and related excavation between Jan. 15 and Feb. 12, 2026, with the cut restored under the LMPW utility restoration policy; the property is owned by Shane Michael Oneill.
