421 W Kenwood Dr encroachment permit for curb lane closure and pole replacement

Louisville Gas & Electric Company plans to close the westbound curb lane on W Kenwood Dr between Laughlin Ave and S 3rd St to replace one utility pole at 421 W Kenwood Dr, with excavation required and the area around the pole to be restored under the LMPW restoration policy. The work, applied for by Derek Wilkins and coordinated with Project Engineer Ambreen Quereshi, is scheduled from 12/17/2025 to 01/14/2026 on property owned by Ronald L. Ubelhart—sidewalks and full road closures aren’t expected, just a temporary curb-lane closure for the pole swap.
