5701 Preston Hwy Encroachment Permit issued for 1 solar-powered LPR camera

Flock Safety is installing one solar‑powered LPR (license‑plate reader) camera and a Flock pole for the LMPD on the south side of E Indian Trail in the right‑of‑way at 5701 Preston Hwy, between Preston Hwy and Helmwood Drive. The site is owned by Indian Trail Legacy Center LLC; crews will make a small 2' x 2' street cut in the dirt ROW, park a van in the adjacent lot, and the work is scheduled between October 22 and November 26, 2025 with a site‑specific traffic control and restoration plan on file.
