217 W Woodlawn Ave Withdrawn encroachment permit for ALPR camera

Flock Safety, on behalf of Louisville Metro Police Department, proposed installing one solar-powered ALPR camera on a 12-foot pole at 217 W Woodlawn Ave (Woodlawn EB at S 3rd St). The plan called for digging an 8" x 36" dirt hole next to the sidewalk (lane traffic won’t be impacted), with the work van parked off-street, cleanup of excess debris, and the property listed to Elmo Investments LLC. The permit was withdrawn in mid‑May at the applicant’s request and Flock indicated they’ll resubmit, so the project is on pause for now.
