4200 Camp Ground Rd environmental permit for asbestos glovebag removal

Chemours Company FC LLC is moving forward with an asbestos abatement at 4200 Camp Ground Rd to repair a 50-pound steam line whose thermal system insulation is falling apart. Abatement contractor Cardinal Industrial Insulation Company Inc. will remove the damaged insulation using glovebag methods, encapsulate the ends and re-insulate the line between June 3 and September 3, 2026, with waste hauled by Republic Services and disposed at WM Outer Loop Landfill (about 3 cubic yards).
