218 N Madison Ave environmental permit for asbestos tile removal in 108-109
Jefferson County Public Schools has applied for an asbestos abatement permit at Middletown Elementary School, 218 N Madison Ave, to remove 1,575 sq ft of floor tile and associated adhesive mastic from Classrooms 108 and 109, with work scheduled June 4–July 31, 2026. RH Environmental will perform non-friable, wet-method removal using hand tools or an electric floor scraper, bag and line waste for disposal at WM - Outer Loop Landfill, and finish with HEPA vacuuming and wet mopping; the owner is Jefferson County School District Fin.
