National Environmental Contracting, Inc. will perform asbestos abatement at 11905 Old Shelbyville Rd for the City of Middletown Kentucky, removing about 25 square feet of asbestos-containing duct tape from the basement so the vacant 1942 residence (2,151 sq ft) can be demolished afterward. The job is scheduled for May 20–June 3, 2026, and NEC says crews will isolate the area, remove the tape intact, clean with HEPA vacuums and wet mopping, use proper PPE, and haul waste to the Outer Loop Landfill.
