Micro-Analytics, Inc. is performing an emergency asbestos abatement at Village School, 760 Eastern Pkwy, for owner Roman Catholic Bishop of Louisville after a leak about a week ago damaged tile and mastic. The work—scheduled 4/6–4/8/2026—calls for wet-scraping and chemical digestion to remove about 260 sq ft of Category I/II flooring; the area is restricted to personnel until resolved, with Quantum Enterprises hauling waste to WM - Outer Loop Landfill and supervisors Billy Geary and Danny Geary on site.
