6200 Camp Ground Rd asbestos abatement permit for Blakelite-R&D Building

Bakelite LLC is set to remove asbestos-containing material at the Blakelite-R&D Building at 6200 Camp Ground Rd as part of converting a science lab into maintenance space. The permit calls for removing about 1,524 sq ft of transite (Category I/II) to be removed intact, with work scheduled March 4–June 4, 2026; Cardinal Industrial Insulation Company will do the abatement, Gotta Go will haul the waste, and material will be taken to WM Outer Loop Landfill (about 60 cu yds disposed daily).
