163 ROCHESTER DR applied for Environmental Permit (Non-Friable Blanket)

Abatement & Environmental Services, LLC has applied for a non-friable blanket asbestos permit to do small-scale removal work for BAE Systems at 163 Rochester Dr., a property owned by Louisville & Jefferson County Redeve. The project, scheduled from January 22, 2026 to January 21, 2027, covers removal of gaskets, transite, floor tile, mastics, window caulking/glazing, roofing and similar sealants, with about 30 cubic yards expected for disposal. The contractor says they'll use standard containment and protective measures — poly, marked bags, suits, respirators, HEPA vacs and negative pressure — and will stop to sample any suspect material before continuing.
