4801 Southside Dr Asbestos Abatement Permit for Interior Renovation In Progress

Americana Community Center Inc. is moving forward with an asbestos abatement at the American World Community Center to clear ACM before interior renovations at 4801 Southside Dr. Complete Demolition Services is slated to do the work from August 5 to September 5, 2026 on the vacant three-story, 9,000‑sq‑ft building, using glovebags for pipe insulation, wet methods for about 3,800 sq ft of flooring and mastic, and containment in the boiler room, with roughly 150 cubic yards expected to be hauled daily to WM Outer Loop Landfill.
